It's an activity that consists of discovering markers (beacons) located in the field
using a map (or even a compass) on which the markers (red circles) to be found are indicated.
The markers (photo below) are made of recycled plastic, with a number to check that you're in the right place, and an incorporated clip to confirm that you've reached the marker.
1- Discovery: 9 stations approx. 45mn first contact orienteering map and markers
2- Beginner: 11 stations approx. 1:00 easy practice to get off the beaten track
3- Practitioner: 19 stations mastery of orienteering technique
4-All stations: 26 competitive or leisure stations
