Château de la Source à Cohons

At the top of the street, before forking left into Rue du Mont, you'll notice a large, square townhouse with a stoop and roof dormers, slightly to the right, surrounded by high walls. The house was built in 1800 by Canon Cardeur de Langres, who used it as his summer residence. Better known as the "Château de la Source", this residence, remarkably situated above the village gardens, was successively owned by the Arnoud, Renard and Metman families from Langres, before belonging to the Clère and Tartarin de Cohons families.

Not open to the public: this private site can only be viewed from the outside.
