A place of entertainment, the Hippodrome de Vittel also plays host every year to horse races, which are a firm fixture in the lives of tourists, spa-goers and walkers alike!
The town of Vittel is committed to preserving its environment and biodiversity, and for over 30 years, no phytosanitary products have been used to protect its plant and natural heritage.
The entire infrastructure was created by the Société Générale des Eaux Minérales de Vittel under the presidency of Jean Bouloumié. Inaugurated on July 15, 1904, the Hippodrome de Vittel has never ceased to improve and develop its facilities in response to the imperatives of safety, regularity and the quality of the public's welcome.
Following decree no. 5 of November 22, 1990, the main grandstand dating from 1904, the building housing the betting counters from 1923, and the weighing pavilion from 1935, have been listed as Historic Monuments.
For lovers of nature and horse racing, the racing season opens at Vittel racecourse for 11 days of relaxation, spectacle and excitement in summer.
