Ground floor: living room/kitchen (traditional coffee maker/filters supplied), small sitting room (BZ), shower room/WC accessible for the disabled. Upstairs: bedroom-living room (2 x 90cm beds separated from the living room by screens), shower room/WC, 2 bedrooms (1 x 140cm bed) (1 x 140cm bed). Baby equipment. Wifi internet access. 2 televisions, one connected. 2 small gardens with garden furniture to the south and north, deckchairs and gas barbecue. Petanque court shared by the 2 gîtes. Car parking. 2 rowing boats, 2 canoes, 1 pedalo, available free of charge at all times with life jackets and maps. Fishing on site. Local shops (bakery, mini-market, butcher's, honey store, pharmacy, doctor). Small market on Wednesdays. Public swimming pool open summer afternoons in Benet (13 km) and Xanton Chassenon lake 19 km away. Festival des Épouvantails (Scarecrow Festival) in Damvix from May (fun, signposted 3km walking circuit; duration 1 h).
Bicycles for hire at the Damvix landing stage (10 m from the gîte). In the afternoon, you can take the Tchou-Tchou tourist train. Damvix museum and exhibition.
