Pyrography is the art of delicately etching fragile wood. The finesse of the line and the carefully added shadows give the subjects depth, contrast and character. Wood, a living material, interacts with drawing and engraving to create unique works.
I let myself be guided by the inspiration of the moment, following my imagination and images that call out to me in a realistic style where every detail is important. I have a particular affection for female models, whom I like to portray with gentleness and intensity. My work also explores landscapes and flowers, which are constant sources of calm and poetry.
Through my work, I seek above all to convey an atmosphere, an emotion, a suspended moment.
