Cirque : Monographie

A character trains by tirelessly repeating the same movements, as if seeking to master the invisible. In this black-and-white world inspired by cartoons, Guillaume Martinet performs a burlesque and virtuosic juggling solo, in which each object seems to have a will of its own. Balls, hoops, and capricious mechanisms become partners in a wordless performance, choreographed down to the millimeter. The laws of gravity yield to an absurd logic, made up of improbable falls, impossible suspensions, and unexpected rebounds. The body transforms into a machine of surprises, oscillating between extreme control and jubilant chaos.
An absurd and explosive show, as funny as it is masterfully executed.
