À propos
It is the universal story of parents and children, woven with worry and tenderness, love and independence.
In a gray city where silence weighs heavily, two destinies collide. There is a little boy, Merveille, lulled by the fairy tales of a father who transforms the factory into an enchanted forest. And there is a little girl, Méduse, whose mother, out of love, raises her to be a warrior ready to face any danger.
A sudden event brings the two children together. Through the adventures that will take them far from home, they will discover together not only the pitfalls but also the beauties of the world, and together they will develop a perspective all their own. The parents, forced to set out together on a quest to find their children, will grow as well, learning to open up to one another and to challenge their beliefs.
"Written in the style of a coming-of-age tale, *Medusa and Wonder* is aimed at young children, but also at adults, to explore freedom and the role given to children who, in order to grow up well, must free themselves from their parents’ anxieties,” Maéfa Bouteillet. Suitable for all ages 8 and up.
